POWERTRAIN
The JAC S3 SUV comes with either a 5-speed standard transmission or an automatic CVT transmission. CVT is a new age automatic transmission that does not shift gear by skipping. CVT smoothly and seamlessly shifts gears with very little sensation felt by the occupants of the vehicle. After 52 years of chassis and suspension manufacturing, JAC came up with a suspension design for the S3 that makes it the most comfortable ride and best handler in its class- hands down.
